Expand your creatives by using PEXI! Our platform supports expandable display banners in their interface. Expandable banner ads are great for creatives that need a little more engagement than your standard IAB ad format. The small size banner will fit into a standard IAB ad space, but will expand outside the standard ad boundaries triggered by user interaction. This interaction could be a click or hover on the message. The close button will collapse the banner to its original size.
Monitoring your display banner results through PEXI is easy. PEXI measures standard metrics like impressions and clicks, but also expands on the banner metrics with in-view time of your banners. What’s more, PEXI can also give you a breakdown of the domains and devices on which your banners have run.
To upload the creative within Pexi you need a Pexi account and access to the correct advertiser. You can request a Pexi account via traffic@pexi.nl. When you have access to Pexi you can upload the banner as a zip (zip the folder, not the files). If you include the IAB size within the filename Pexi will automatically detect and adjust the upload settings.
with an expand banner you get the best of both worlds from a small rectangle and halfpage. on the publisher page a 320x100 sits like a normal banner with the ability to be turned in a halfpage banner and back again with the click of a button.
